Law Adviser Visits Hospital to Check on Khaleda Zia’s Health

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, currently in a critical condition, is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital. On the night of Friday, 28 November, Law adviser Asif Nazrul visited the hospital to assess her health and provide support.

According to Shairul Kabir Khan, an official from the BNP Chairperson’s media wing, the visit was undertaken on behalf of Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Alongside Asif Nazrul, the Chief Adviser’s special assistant, Monir Haider, was also present. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir accompanied them during the visit.

Khaleda Zia is currently being closely monitored in the hospital’s Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) under the supervision of a dedicated medical board. Officials confirmed that her condition is critical but stable, and medical staff are maintaining intensive care to ensure her recovery.

BNP leadership has been closely following her condition, and senior party officials are being regularly updated on her progress. The visit by Asif Nazrul and Monir Haider underscores the party’s concern for her wellbeing and highlights the ongoing attention the top leadership is paying to her treatment.
