Law Enforcement on High Alert at Secretariat

News (Translated):The verdict in the case filed against three individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, for genocide and other crimes against humanity during the July uprising is scheduled to be announced today. In anticipation of the verdict, law enforcement agencies are on high alert around the Secretariat.

Officials and staff have been arriving at their respective offices since early this morning. Due to the verdict, all personnel are maintaining maximum vigilance.

Meanwhile, visitor access inside the Secretariat may be somewhat restricted today. A police officer on duty inside the Secretariat stated that they are maintaining constant alertness to prevent any acts of sabotage.
