Major Events Scheduled in Dhaka Today

Various government offices, political parties, and organizations regularly hold different events in the capital, Dhaka. Here is a list of some key programs scheduled for today, Friday (November 7).

BNP Programs

• 10:00 AM: On the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will pay tribute at the mausoleum of the party’s founder, late President Ziaur Rahman. He will be accompanied by members of the BNP Standing Committee, senior leaders, Dhaka Metropolitan BNP, and leaders and activists from affiliated organizations.

• 3:00 PM: Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will inaugurate a rally organized by the BNP Central Committee in front of the party’s central office in Naya Paltan.

Launch of UTF

• 10:00 AM: The “University Teachers Forum (UTF)” will be launched with the aim of redefining unity, dignity, accountability, and the social role of university teachers in Bangladesh. On this occasion, AB Party President Mujibur Rahman Manju will attend as a guest at the event organized in the Kabi Shamsur Rahman Conference Room of Bangla Academy.
