Speaking to the media, Malaika said: “Many people call me ‘old’. How can anyone say such things? Of course, sometimes it feels hurtful to hear these words. There is absolutely no sensitivity in them. They only see my courageous and strong personality.”

She explained that people often fail to recognise the sensitive person behind her bold and strong exterior. Negative comments about her age do cause her pain, but she strives to respond with a positive mindset.

Malaika addressed her critics directly: “Go ahead and say whatever you like. I have no problem with that.”

Malaika also shared that her son, Arhaan Khan, is always by her side. She said: “My son is my biggest support. He always reminds me, ‘Who cares what people say? Why are you letting it bother you?’”
