People often visit markets and shops in the capital for various needs. However, after struggling through heavy traffic, finding all the shops closed can be frustrating and waste valuable time. So, here is a list of the markets and tourist attractions in Dhaka that will remain closed this Friday.
Markets to Remain Closed
Azimpur Super Market, Gulistan Hawkers Market, Farashganj Timber Market, Shyambazar Wholesale Shops, Samad Super Market, Rahmania Super Market, Idris Super Market, Dayaganj Bazar, Dhupkhola Math Bazar, Chawk Bazar, Babu Bazar, Naya Bazar, Kaptan Bazar, Rajdhani Super Market, Dayaganj City Corporation Market, Islampur Cloth Shops, Chhoto Katra, Boro Katra Wholesale Market, Sharif Mansion, Fulbaria Market, and Sandra Super Market will remain closed today.
Tourist Attractions to Remain Closed
Armed Forces Museum: Located at Bijoy Sarani, this museum remains open daily from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM, but it is closed on Thursdays and Fridays.
National Museum of Science and Technology, Agargaon: This museum remains closed on Thursdays and Fridays for weekly holidays. It is open from Saturday to Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The entry fee is 5 taka per person. Additionally, on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 PM, visitors can observe the sky through telescopes with a ticket costing 10 taka.
Bangladesh Shishu Academy Museum: This museum remains closed on Fridays and Saturdays for weekly holidays. It is open from Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
