In a message issued on Sunday, 16 November, marking the 49th anniversary of Maulana Bhashani’s death, Tarique Rahman said, “Maulana Bhashani’s deep love for the nation, his protection of the country and its people, and his opposition to the enemies of democracy and humanity will continue to inspire us for generations. If we can truly follow his ideals, we will be able to achieve our goals.”
Tarique Rahman emphasised that Maulana Bhashani is an unforgettable name in the national history of Bangladesh. “He was a symbol of resistance against imperialism, colonialism, and domination.
