Meghna Life Insurance Hosts Annual Conference in Cox’s Bazar

Meghna Life Insurance PLC successfully concluded its much-anticipated Annual Conference 2026, held amidst the scenic backdrop of the Long Beach Hotel in Cox’s Bazar. The three-day event, spanning from 28 to 30 January, served as a strategic platform for reviewing past performance and charting a robust course for the upcoming fiscal year.

High-Level Leadership and Strategic Vision

The conference was presided over by the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mohammad Tareq, FCA, and graced by the presence of Nizam Uddin Ahmad, Chairman of Meghna Life Insurance, who attended as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished attendees included Vice Chairman Nasir Uddin Ahmed and Director Riaz Uddin Ahmed.

Chairman Nizam Uddin Ahmad expressed his profound satisfaction with the company’s performance throughout 2025. He noted that the trajectory for 2026 is poised for "consistent and satisfactory growth." In an announcement that sparked considerable enthusiasm, the Chairman revealed plans for a grand celebration to mark the 30th anniversary of the company, promising an even larger scale for future annual gatherings.

A highlight of the event was the recognition of excellence. Out of the nearly one thousand development officers and personnel in attendance, 25 distinguished Zone In-charges and Financial Associates (FAs) were honoured with commemorative crests and medals for their exceptional contributions during the 2025 business year.
