Metro rail services have resumed after a brief suspension due to emergency repairs on the electric line. According to the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), metro rail operations restarted at 12:55 PM.
In a press release issued at 1:00 PM on Sunday (November 2), DMTCL confirmed the resumption of metro service. A post on their verified Facebook page stated, “Dear passengers, please be informed that train operations resumed at 12:55 PM.”
Earlier, in a post at 12:41 PM, DMTCL announced that metro services between Pallabi and Mirpur-11 would remain suspended from 12:40 PM to 1:10 PM for emergency maintenance work on the electric line.
The metro authorities expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to passengers.
