Mexican President Confident of Securing Strong Trade Deal with US

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum expressed confidence on Sunday that she would successfully negotiate a favourable trade agreement with the United States, despite the challenges posed by former President Donald Trump’s aggressive global tariff policies.

Speaking to thousands of supporters while marking the first anniversary of her administration, Sheinbaum emphasised her commitment to securing beneficial agreements for Mexico.

“I’m confident we will reach a good deal with the United States and all other nations of the world with respect to trade,” she stated.
