Mominul Heads to Australia, Mustafiz to UAE

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has granted No Objection Certificates (NOC) to Mominul Haque, Mustafizur Rahman, and Taskin Ahmed to participate in foreign leagues until 23 December. This was confirmed by Shahriar Nafis, In-Charge of BCB’s Cricket Operations. All three cricketers have received clearance to compete in upcoming tournaments.

Mominul Haque has already departed for Australia. He will play for Blacktown District Cricket Club in the New South Wales Grade Cricket, a historic league organised by the Sydney Cricket Association. Many prominent Australian stars, including Steve Smith and Mitchell Starc, have previously participated in this competition.

Mustafizur Rahman left the country on Thursday night to play in the IL T20 in the United Arab Emirates. He will represent the Dubai Capitals, while Taskin Ahmed will don the Shurjah Warriors jersey.

Earlier, BCB had allowed leg-spinner Rishad Hossain to play in the Big Bash League (BBL). He will feature for Hobart Hurricanes when the tournament starts on 14 December. Both Mustafizur and Taskin are expected to return to Bangladesh before the commencement of the BPL.
