‘My Face Reflects the Look of a Heartbroken Person’ – Dhanush

Bollywood actor Dhanush recently revealed that many people believe his face reflects someone who has failed in love. However, instead of taking this as an insult, he has chosen to accept it as a compliment. During the promotion of his upcoming film Tere Ishq Mein in Delhi, Dhanush laughed as he said, “Apparently, my face looks like someone who’s been heartbroken. I actually took it as a good thing.”

This comment, he explained, came from director Aanand L. Rai and co-star Kriti Sanon. Dhanush further added, “When they said I have the face of a heartbroken person, I was happy to hear it because it will naturally help me connect with the emotional depth of my character.”

In the film Tere Ishq Mein, Dhanush plays the role of Shankar, a character who may seem easy to love, but is filled with emotional complexities that the audience will understand as the story unfolds. Despite the character’s romantic involvement, Dhanush insists that Shankar is not “aggressive” but instead has a deeper emotional and challenging side.

Although Dhanush has several other projects lined up for this year, Tere Ishq Mein will be his final release of 2023, set to hit cinemas on November 28th. This movie marks a significant chapter in his career, where he portrays an emotionally intricate role, adding another layer to his acting repertoire.
