National Fisheries Week 2025 Begins Tomorrow in Khulna

Khulna, 21 July 2025 – The National Fisheries Week 2025 is set to commence tomorrow (Tuesday, 22 July) in Khulna, marked by a symbolic release of fish fry (Renu Pona) at Shaheed Hadis Park pond, followed by a colourful rally through the city.

The week-long celebration, jointly organised by the Khulna District Administration and the Department of Fisheries, will run from 22 to 28 July, featuring a series of events highlighting the importance of sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.
