Commuters in Dhaka have been facing difficulties due to the suspension of metro rail services from Agargaon to Shahbagh, following a fatal incident in which a bearing pad fell, killing a pedestrian.
However, the metro rail authority has announced that services from Uttara to Motijheel will resume uninterrupted from 11:00 am today.
The announcement was made via a Facebook post by the metro rail authority on Monday, 27 October.
The post stated: “For the information of our esteemed passengers, metro rail services from Uttara North to Motijheel will resume uninterrupted from 11:00 am today.”
The authority also expressed sincere apologies for the temporary inconvenience caused.
