ONE Bank Unites Staff Nationwide at Inspirational ‘Town Hall Meet 2025’

ONE Bank PLC has held its annual Town Hall Meet 2025 in Gulshan, Dhaka, marking one of the bank’s most significant internal gatherings of the year. The event brought together senior leadership, executives, and employees from branches across the country under the aspirational theme, “Together We Rise as ONE – Transform to Lead, Drive to Excel.” The meeting served as both a strategic forum and a motivational platform aimed at aligning staff with the bank’s renewed vision for growth and transformation.

The programme was inaugurated by ASM Shahidullah Khan, chairman of ONE Bank PLC, who attended as the chief guest. In his opening remarks, Khan reaffirmed the board’s unwavering confidence in the institution’s new leadership team. He underscored the importance of strengthening corporate governance, reinforcing performance discipline, and accelerating the bank’s broader strategic transformation initiatives. His address encouraged employees to embrace accountability, innovation, and collaboration in an increasingly competitive financial landscape.

The event was conducted by Muhit Rahman, ONE Bank’s newly appointed managing director, who delivered an extensive strategic briefing. According to the bank’s press release, Rahman outlined a forward-looking roadmap grounded in disciplined execution, improved operational efficiency, and the adoption of technology-driven solutions. He emphasised the need for cross-functional coordination and encouraged staff to contribute proactively to the bank’s next phase of development.

Rahman’s speech highlighted several priority areas for 2025: expanding digital banking capabilities, enhancing customer experience, and driving sustainable growth across all business segments. He concluded with a rousing call to unity and purpose, stating, “Together as ONE,” which drew strong appreciation from attendees.

The event saw the presence of distinguished members of the bank’s board and senior leadership, including Zahur Ullah, chairman of the executive committee; Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury (retd), independent director and former Chief of Naval Staff; alongside divisional heads, business leaders, senior officials, and managers from all branches nationwide.

The Town Hall Meet not only outlined the institution’s strategic priorities but also reflected its commitment to fostering a cohesive and motivated workforce. With clear direction from its leadership and renewed enthusiasm among employees, ONE Bank aims to step confidently into 2025 with a stronger, more unified organisational spirit.
