One Killed in Collision Between Truck and Microbus in Hathazari

A young man named Md Kawser (26), reported to be the driver of a microbus, has died following a head-on collision between a truck and a microbus in Hathazari, Chattogram.

The accident occurred on Friday morning (5 December) on the Chattogram–Khagrachhari regional highway in the Noyahat area of Hathazari upazila.

Nazirhat Highway Police Station Sub-Inspector Md Shahed confirmed the incident.

He stated that on Friday morning, the microbus travelling from Fatikchhari towards Chattogram Airport collided head-on with a truck near Noyahat Forhadabad School. The microbus driver Kawser died at the scene, while five passengers sustained injuries.

Md Shahed further said that police went to the spot after receiving the report, seized the vehicles involved, and sent the injured to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment.
