Jhenaidah, 21 July 2025 – The Online General Diary (GD) programme was officially launched in six police stations across Jhenaidah district in the early hours of Monday, aiming to make police services more accessible and citizen-friendly by enabling digital GD submissions.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohammad Manjur Morshed at Sadar Police Station at 12:01 am.

SP Manjur Morshed, speaking at the event, emphasised the significance of the new digital service, stating that the online GD system will allow citizens to lodge all types of general diary entries digitally, without having to physically visit a police station.
