Renowned musician Partha Protim Roy has unveiled a fresh addition to his growing repertoire of original music with the release of his new song, “Bhalobashi Bolte Chai” (“I Want to Say I Love You”). Timed to coincide with Valentine’s Day, the track has been launched in the form of a music video on his official YouTube channel, PPR MUSIC. According to the artist, the song will also be made available next week on his verified Facebook page, Partha Protim Roy.

The song is a fully self-produced creation: Partha Protim Roy composed the melody, penned the lyrics, and lent his own vocals to the track. Despite a demanding professional career as an IT specialist and researcher, his profound passion for music continues to inspire him to explore creative expression beyond his day-to-day work. “Bhalobashi Bolte Chai” captures the tender nuances of love, anticipation, and courage, set against the vibrant, romantic ambience of spring.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind his latest work, Roy said, “This is more than just a song—it is a feeling very close to my heart. Even amid the busy rhythms of my IT career, I have tried to weave the simplicity and depth of genuine emotion into every note. Through the lyrics, composition, and vocals, I have aimed to convey the timeless charm of love and its pure, rose-like beauty. I hope that listeners who know love, or dream of it, will find a place for this song in the corners of their hearts.”

The music arrangement and mix-mastering were carried out by Rupen Chowdhury, while the music video was directed by C. F. Zaman. The video features performances by Mamun Khan, Sushmita, and Partha Protim Roy himself, marking his debut appearance as an actor in one of his own projects. Since its release on Valentine’s Day, the song has already struck a chord with audiences, resonating with the fresh energy and romantic sentiments of the season.

Partha Protim Roy added, “This spring, may every expression of love discover its own language once again.”
