In Gopalganj, petrol bombs were thrown at the Public Works Department office and a branch of Grameen Bank.
Early Thursday morning (13 November), a petrol bomb thrown by miscreants set fire to a pickup van of the Public Works Department.
Police stated that around 4:30 am, miscreants threw at least 10 petrol bombs at the walls of the Public Works Department office building and a pickup van. The van caught fire, which was brought under control by the office guard with the help of nearby residents.
Additionally, late at night, the miscreants targeted the building of Grameen Bank Ulpur branch. According to police, from a black microbus, miscreants threw 5–6 petrol bombs, one of which exploded. However, no damage occurred to the bank.
Meanwhile, at around 3:30 am, miscreants placed trees on the Dhaka–Khulna highway in Chandrodigholia area of the Sadar upazila, blocking traffic. Police and army personnel removed the trees and restored normal traffic flow.
