Nepali-born singer, content creator, and entrepreneur Pinky Chettri has recently released her solo single “Bhob Torongo”, which has garnered widespread acclaim on her YouTube channel. The song has captivated audiences not only for its melodic richness and technical finesse but also for Pinky’s warmth, insight, and authentic expression, leaving a lasting impression on listeners’ hearts. Beyond music, Pinky is well-known for creating inspirational and awareness-driven content, which has resonated strongly with audiences in Bangladesh.

The Story Behind “Bhob Torongo”

The concept for “Bhob Torongo” emerged in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when much of the world was confined indoors. The production faced early delays, but Pinky recalls how music producer Autumnal Moon encouraged her to complete the project. “Initially, I was unhappy with my vocals, so I made a dummy recording,” Pinky explains. “Moon Bhai suggested that even a dummy track could be refined into the final version.”

Pinky is meticulous when selecting songs, emphasising that both lyrics and melody must have a strong foundation. The lyrics of “Bhob Torongo” were co-written by lyricist Kazi Ashraf and Autumnal Moon, who also oversaw the vocal recording process, ensuring a polished final output.

Music Career and Recognition

Having sung for over a decade, Pinky stresses that she has never created music solely for fame. “My focus has always been on quality music and healthy competition. I have never produced songs just for transient popularity,” she says. Later this year, she plans to release a duet single with renowned artist Imran Mahmudul, with additional projects yet to be announced.

Content Creation and Audience Engagement

For Pinky, the message of her content takes precedence over virality. Her videos, produced under the Studio Shutter Up banner, focus on mental wellness, healthy living, and public awareness, with every piece carefully vetted before release.

Commitment to Bangladesh

Although of Nepali origin, Pinky identifies strongly with Bangladesh. “I have been living here for 20 years. Our family is fully integrated into the local community, and I intend to make Bangladesh my permanent home,” she affirms.
