Law enforcement authorities have requested that anyone who has information about the suspect inform the police. At the same time, they have announced that the identity of informants will be kept confidential and that a suitable reward will be provided for effective and reliable information.

These details were disclosed in a press release issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Saturday (13 December). The DMP stated that the identity of anyone providing information would be fully protected. It was also noted that if the information proves to be accurate and helpful in the investigation, a suitable reward would be given as an incentive.

According to the DMP, on Friday (12 December), Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha, was seriously injured in an attack carried out by motorcycle-borne assailants. The incident took place in the Bijoynagar Box Culvert area of the capital. Following the attack, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police initiated an intensified operation across the capital with the aim of identifying and arresting those responsible. The press release mentioned that, considering the seriousness and sensitivity of the incident, multiple police teams have been deployed and are actively working on the ground.
