Pritam Hasan Embarks on Action-Packed Journey

Renowned for his dual success in music and acting, Pritam Hasan is set to surprise audiences once again—this time by stepping into an entirely new realm as an action hero. Previously celebrated for his romantic and relatable characters, Hasan is now preparing to embrace high-octane thrills in a daring transformation.

This exciting shift will be unveiled in the upcoming web series “Cactus”, written and directed by the talented filmmaker Shihab Shaheen. Principal photography for the series has already wrapped, with the final scenes scheduled to be completed in the coming days. Opposite Hasan, the lead role will be portrayed by Mehzabin Chowdhury, whose presence promises to enrich the storyline further.

Speaking about the project, Hasan shared:
“In ‘Cactus’, I am playing a character audiences have never seen me portray before. I can’t reveal all the details yet, but it’s entirely action-oriented, featuring thrilling sequences reminiscent of 007, and the narrative is designed to captivate viewers. Working alongside Mehzabin Chowdhury has been a remarkable experience—she is a talented and exceptional co-actor. Director Shihab Shaheen has approached this project with meticulous care and patience. I am confident that ‘Cactus’ will become a favourite among viewers this Eid.”

Hasan previously collaborated with Shaheen on the web series “Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya”, which was released on the Chorki platform. “Cactus” will also be available on Chorki, featuring a strong ensemble cast including Mons Bandyopadhyay, Salahuddin Lovlu, Shahadat Hossain, Najiba Bashar, and Sanjida Tasnim.

Alongside acting, Hasan continues to shine in the music industry. His songs for Shakib Khan-starring films such as “Tufan”, “Tandob”, and “Barbad” have garnered widespread acclaim. This Eid, Hasan is recording a new track for another Shakib Khan film, with further details to be revealed soon.
