Programs to be Observed in the Capital Today

Various government offices, political parties, and organizations in the capital Dhaka hold different programs almost every day. Here’s a look at some of the key events scheduled for today, Wednesday (November 12):

Economic Adviser
• 11:00 AM: Economic Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed will attend a meeting of the Economic Affairs Advisory Committee at the Secretariat.

BNP Programs
• 11:00 AM: A diplomatic meeting will be held at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan, where BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be present.

• 12:00 PM: On the occasion of the November 7 Revolution and Solidarity Day, a publication and discussion program will be held at the Shilpakala Academy. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed will attend as the chief guest.

• 2:00 PM: Another discussion meeting marking the same occasion will take place at the China-Bangladesh Friendship International Conference Center. Acting BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will attend as the chief guest.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will preside over the program.

• 4:00 PM: BNP will conduct leaflet distribution and mass communication activities in Kamrangirchar. The program will begin at Kholamora Ghat and be led by BNP International Affairs Secretary Barrister Nasir Uddin Ahmed Asim.

• 11:00 AM: Gono Odhikar Parishad General Secretary Md. Rashed Khan will meet with the Chief Election Commissioner and submit a memorandum to the Election Commission.
