Masudur Rahman Limon, the Vice-President of the Faridpur District unit of the Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, has been expelled from the party following his alleged involvement in a violent extortion incident that left 16 Mahindra vehicles vandalised.
The expulsion was confirmed in a press release on Wednesday evening (24 September), signed by Minhajul Islam Bhuiya, Joint Secretary of the Jubo Dal. Limon was arrested earlier in the morning from the Wireless Para area of Faridpur city.
The statement read: “Due to clear allegations of involvement in activities against party principles and ideology, Masudur Rahman Limon, Vice-President of the Faridpur District Jubo Dal, has been expelled from the party, including his primary membership. This decision has been implemented by Jubo Dal Central Executive Committee President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayon.”
