The Bangladesh Police has officially announced a recruitment drive for the position of Sergeant. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to submit their applications online starting 8 March 2026. Both male and female applicants are encouraged to apply for this prestigious role.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
Skills: Proficiency in motorcycle handling is mandatory, and candidates should also possess basic computer literacy.
Marital Status: Applicants must be unmarried and must remain so until the completion of the probationary period. Divorcees will not be eligible.

Applicants must be aged between 19 and 27 years as of 2 April 2026. However, a relaxed age limit of up to 32 years applies to the children of freedom fighters, martyred freedom fighters, and Biranganas.
The position falls under Grade 10 of the National Pay Scale 2015, with a salary range of 16,000–38,640 BDT per month. In addition to the base pay, candidates are entitled to all government benefits and allowances applicable to police personnel.
