Two additional customers of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC have been announced as winners of motorcycles under an ongoing remittance festival campaign organised in collaboration with Ria Money Transfer. The announcement marks the selection of the 19th and 20th prize recipients through a digital raffle draw held on Sunday (29 March) at Islami Bank Tower in Dhaka.
The initiative, launched to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, aims to encourage the inflow of expatriate remittances through formal banking channels while rewarding customers who receive funds via Ria Money Transfer.
The 19th motorcycle winner was Md. Main Uddin, a customer of the Nangalkot branch in Cumilla. He received the prize against a remittance sent by Nasir Uddin, a Bangladeshi expatriate residing in the United States.
Meanwhile, the 20th motorcycle was awarded to Md. Ziaul Haque, a ‘Cellfin’ digital banking customer of the Feni branch. His winning remittance was sent by Mohammad Mominul Haque, who currently lives in South Africa.
