In celebration of the upcoming Sharadiya Durga Puja, Bangladesh has sent 500 kilogrammes of aromatic Chinigura rice to India as a gift for distribution. The initiative has been undertaken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On Monday, 22 September, a pickup van carrying the rice consignment crossed into India through the Akhaura Land Port in Brahmanbaria, entering Tripura’s Agartala Land Port.
