In the fast-paced world of Bangladeshi entertainment, few ascents have been as graceful or as rapid as that of Paru. A young woman who initially captured the internet’s attention with her penchant for traditional sarees and candid Instagram photography, she has swiftly transitioned from a social media personality to one of the most talked-about acting talents of early 2026.
Paru’s journey began in 2022 when her distinctive look caught the eye of a commercial director. With no prior formal training, she accepted an invitation to model in an advertisement. Reflecting on her first time before the lens, she recalls feeling an innate confidence rather than trepidation. The director was reportedly stunned when she delivered a perfect performance on the very first take.
Despite the immediate success of her debut commercial in 2023, Paru faced a period of uncertainty. For eight months, she stepped away from the limelight, unsure if the industry was her true calling. However, a second collaboration with director Arafat Mohsin solidified her resolve. Since then, she has featured in approximately twenty high-profile advertising campaigns.

Paru’s transition into acting reached its zenith with the release of the web series “Antka” on the streaming platform Chorki this past January. Portraying the character of Munia, a daughter of the Rahman household, she has earned widespread acclaim for her nuanced performance.
“The love I have received since Antka premiered feels like a dream,” Paru told Prothom Alo. “Munia is an ordinary girl with deep, unspoken emotions and internal conflicts. As the youngest daughter in my own family, I felt an immediate connection to the script. I am talkative and ambitious, much like Munia.”
Born and raised in the Mirpur district of Dhaka, Paru is currently balancing her burgeoning career with her studies at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). She credits her success to her family, particularly her mother, who remains her “greatest strength,” often waiting up until the early hours of the morning for her to return from exhausting shoots.
Inspired by stalwarts such as Chanchal Chowdhury and Afran Nisho, as well as international icons like Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, Paru is no longer just a viral face on a screen. She is a dedicated artist walking the path she once only dreamt of as a child.
