Rubio Calls for Accountability for ‘Massacres’ in Syria

WASHINGTON, March 9, 2025 (BSS/AFP) – US Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned the “massacres” of minority groups in Syria on Sunday and urged the interim administration to ensure that those responsible are held to account.

“Syria’s interim authorities must hold the perpetrators of these massacres against Syria’s minority communities accountable,” Rubio stated in an official remark.
