On the stage of Bigg Boss 19, nobody anticipated that Salman Khan would suddenly veer into the realm of global politics. During Saturday night’s episode, while admonishing contestant Farhan Bhatt, the Bollywood superstar unexpectedly remarked: “The one who’s causing the most chaos is the same person demanding the Nobel Peace Prize!”
Although he refrained from naming anyone directly, both the studio audience and online viewers immediately drew the connection to former US President Donald Trump. Over recent months, Trump has repeatedly claimed to have played roles in resolving international disputes — whether between India and Pakistan or Israel and Palestine. Yet, those involved in such conflicts have consistently dismissed his assertions. Despite this, his supporters have pushed for him to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. With a single line, Salman seemed to capture the irony of the entire debate.
As soon as the episode aired, the clip of Salman’s pointed comment went viral. From Twitter to Reddit, social media platforms were flooded with reactions.
| Viewer Reaction | Tone |
| “Does Salman really keep up with world news?” | Humorous |
| “That line from Bhaijaan was absolutely epic.” | Admirative |
| “Let’s see how Trump responds to this now!” | Satirical |
The incident added a fresh layer of buzz to Bigg Boss 19, which had already opened with record-breaking viewership figures. Salman’s weekend presence on the show remains a key attraction, combining contestants’ clashes, behind-the-scenes drama, and his own unfiltered commentary.
Salman has also recently turned his sharp tongue towards music composer and singer Amaal Mallik, criticising his lethargic approach on the show. In a promo clip, Salman was heard saying: “The image you had outside the show is about to get even worse.”
Amaal’s habit of breaking house rules by sleeping during the day has made him a source of irritation for both viewers and producers.
While commanding the stage of Bigg Boss, Salman Khan is simultaneously active on the big screen. Between shoots for the reality show, he is filming his upcoming war drama Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film, currently being shot in Ladakh, depicts the India–China border clashes in the Galwan Valley.
Salman Khan’s presence, whether through witty political jabs on television or intense war narratives in cinema, seems to be resonating equally in both worlds.
