The National Consensus Commission has released the draft of the July National Charter 2025, which reflects outcomes from month-long dialogues held with various political parties and coalitions. This draft was formally distributed to the parties on Monday, 28 July.
Led by the commission’s Chief Adviser, Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, the draft embodies recommendations gathered during these comprehensive political consultations.

The Commission had earlier submitted its recommendations to the government on 31 January 2025. Based on these submissions, two rounds of political dialogues were held to forge national consensus.
