Speaking to reporters, Apel Mahmud and several other former leaders stated: “While our personal attachments may have led to breaches of party discipline, our commitment to the party remains unchanged. Even after expulsion, we are loyal members at heart. The BNP is embedded in our very being, and we will continue to love and support the party.”

The leadership of Chhatra Dal has emphasised that the expulsions were necessary to maintain organisational discipline and ensure that the party’s activities are conducted with integrity and accountability. Observers note that this move may set a precedent for stricter enforcement of rules within student political bodies across the district.
