Sohail Khan Opens Up About Divorce from Seema

About a year ago, news of Salman Khan’s younger brother, Sohail Khan, and his wife Seema Sajdeh’s divorce shocked many. Recently, Sohail spoke publicly about the reasons behind their separation, reflecting on why he made this decision after 24 years of marriage.

In an interview with Indian media, Sohail revealed that constant arguments were the primary reason for their divorce. He opened up about his relationship with Seema and the rationale behind ending their marriage.

Sohail said: “I spent 24 years with Seema. She is a very beautiful woman, and despite everything, some things just didn’t work between us. But that doesn’t change the equation between her and me. She is an extraordinary person and a very caring mother.”

He added: “It has always been decided that once a year we will spend time together as a family with the children and enjoy ourselves. We will simply be separated parents and still have a wonderful time.”

Sohail explained the impact of marital disputes on children: “When husband and wife start fighting, it deeply affects the children. They cannot understand how much the parents’ egos influence them. But children begin to feel irritated. This can negatively affect the next generation and have a bad impact on their lives. These children may grow up to be irritable adults. That’s why Seema and I decided that we did not want our sons and daughters to go through that.”

Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh fell in love in 1998 and subsequently married. Their divorce was formally finalised in 2022.

While Seema previously spoke about the divorce on Netflix’s Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, this interview marked Sohail Khan’s first public statement regarding the matter.
