Soumya Sarkar may captain Noakhali Express

The new franchise ‘Noakhali Express’ participating in the upcoming BPL has already built a strong squad. Two star cricketers have been included in the team through direct contracts, and several talented players were added via the auction. Team coach Khaled Mahmud Sujon hinted that left-handed batsman Soumya Sarkar could lead the side in the upcoming tournament.

Soumya Sarkar was acquired through a direct contract before the auction. Sujon said, “I want Soumya to lead the team if he wishes. Often players do not want extra responsibility. If he wants, I will respect his decision.”

Additionally, aggressive batsman Habibur Rahman Sohan, who impressed at the Rising Stars Asia Cup, has been brought into the squad. Sujon said, “Sohan is our pocket dynamo. He will light up the game. Charles, Soumya, and Kushal are experienced. They will drive the team forward. I don’t want to put pressure on Sohan; Soumya will make his batting easier.”
