The incidents occurred on three separate locations in the city on Monday night (10 November).

According to the Fire Service control room, a Raida Transport bus caught fire at Jatrabari, a Rajdhani Transport bus at Ray’s Bagh, and another Raida Transport bus at Uttara Khalpar. Fire Service teams immediately rushed to all three locations and extinguished the fires.

The Fire Service further stated that the buses were set on fire at 1 am in Ray’s Bagh, 2 am in Jatrabari, and 4 am in the Khalpar area of Sonargaon Janapad. All the burnt buses were parked by the roadside. No casualties were reported in the incidents.
