On Wednesday, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification dismissing three Assistant Commissioners (Executive Magistrates) from their positions. They were undergoing basic training. The dismissed officials are Anup Kumar Biswas (Bogra), Nabomita Sarker (Pirojpur), and Kazi Arifur Rahman (Faridpur).
The notification stated that they have been removed from government service under Rule 6(2)(a) of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1981. Furthermore, any financial dues owed by the government during their tenure will be recovered in accordance with the Public Demand Recovery Act, 1913.
It is reported that the three officials completed their basic training on Wednesday. They were dismissed on the very day of completing the training. However, the notification did not mention the reasons for their dismissal.
