Three More Deaths from Dengue, 473 Hospitalised in 24 Hours

In Bangladesh, three more people have died from dengue fever in the last 24 hours, while 473 new patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country.

The information was confirmed on Tuesday (2 September) through a dengue-related press release issued by the Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

 

According to the press release, the three victims recorded in the past 24 hours were:

  • One resident of Dhaka South City Corporation,
  • One from Chattogram Division,
  • One from Dhaka Division.

This brings the total death toll from dengue this year to 125.

 

A total of 473 patients were admitted with dengue fever across the country within the past day. The division-wise breakdown is as follows:
