The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) election for the director positions saw its nomination submission deadline yesterday at 5:00 PM. While 60 nominations were collected on Saturday, 51 nominations were submitted on the final day.
After scrutiny, the Election Commission declared three nominations invalid on Monday, leaving 48 nominations officially valid.
Among the cancelled nominations was Abdullah Fuad Redwan from the Dhaka Division. As a result, the remaining two candidates, Aminul Islam Bulbul and Nazmul Abedin Fahim, are now set to win unopposed from Dhaka.
The remaining two invalidated nominations were:

According to the schedule, objection hearings are set for tomorrow. Those whose nominations were cancelled retain the right to appeal, and the Election Commission will review and make a decision following the hearings.
