Tragedy struck on the Bhairab-Kishoreganj highway on Sunday afternoon when a motorcycle accident claimed the lives of three teenagers. Eyewitnesses have said that reckless speed was the primary cause of the crash.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. in the Kathaltoli area along the highway, leaving the local community in shock.

Kuliyarchar Police Station’s Sub-Inspector Manjurul Islam confirmed the deaths, emphasising the severity of the accident.
According to eyewitnesses, the three teenagers were riding the motorcycle towards Dwariakandi at high speed when the rider lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn. Tragically, a pickup truck approaching from behind struck the overturned motorcycle, killing Bijoy and Jaber instantly at the scene.
Jeet Barman, who suffered critical injuries, was initially taken to Baghalpur Jahurul Islam Medical College Hospital. As his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries around 8:30 p.m.
The incident has cast a sombre shadow over the local community, with residents expressing grief and urging caution on the busy highway.
