Today’s Scheduled Programmes in Dhaka

In the capital Dhaka, various government departments, political parties and social organisations hold different programmes almost every day. On Monday (24 November), here is a look at some of the important programmes scheduled for the day.

Programme of the Disaster Adviser
• 10:00 am: Faruk-e-Azam, Adviser of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, will attend as the chief guest at the ‘National Peace Support Conference’ organised by The Hunger Project Bangladesh. The event will be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship International Conference Centre.

Programme of the Finance Adviser
• 11:00 am: Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed will take part in the meeting of the Advisory Council Committee on Public Procurement. The meeting will be held at Room 400, Newly Constructed Building-1 of the Cabinet Division, Bangladesh Secretariat.

Programmes of BNP
• 10:30 am: A seminar titled ‘Review of the Media Reform Report’, organised by the Broadcast Journalist Centre (BJC), will take place at the Celebrity Hall Room of the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will attend as the chief guest.

• 10:30 am: The inauguration ceremony of the newly formed committee of the Titas Workers and Employees Union will be held at the Titas Auditorium in Kawran Bazar. BNP Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan will attend as the chief guest.
