Two Police Officers Killed in Blast in Pakistan

A blast occurred near an armoured police vehicle in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, leaving at least two police officers dead.

According to the police, the explosion took place in the Hatala area of Kulachi.

The DSP stated that an operation is underway across the area following the incident.

Earlier, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that security forces conducted two operations in the Kurram district. In a targeted operation based on intelligence, 12 members of the Khariji group were killed during an exchange of fire.

In a separate operation, another 11 militants were also killed.
