Authorities in Dhaka recovered the body of a young university student, Anisha Ferdousi, from her apartment in the bustling Hazaribagh area on Saturday evening. The 22-year-old was discovered hanging in a room on the fifth floor of a building located on Tally Office Lane.

According to police reports, Anisha was found unconscious around 5:30 pm and was immediately rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Doctors at the emergency department declared her dead upon arrival.

Anisha, a resident of Hazaribagh, was the daughter of Jalil Rahman. She was in her fourth year, studying Computer Science at the Asian University of Bangladesh (IUB).

He added that she was immediately taken to DMCH, where doctors confirmed that she had passed away.
