Updated List of National and International Days of Observance Published

The government has released a new list for the observance and celebration of various national and international days and festivals with due dignity. Recently, the Cabinet Division issued a circular in this regard.

According to the circular, except for national days, elaborate decorations and large-scale programs should be avoided as much as possible. However, discussions on radio and television and small-scale seminars or symposiums may be organized. It has also been instructed not to hold processions or rallies on working days.

The circular further states that if a particular week is to be observed, the program schedule should generally be limited to three days.
