US Navy Downs Iranian Drone in Arabian Sea

The United States Navy has neutralised an Iranian drone approaching the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea, in an incident that has heightened tensions in the Middle East and affected global oil markets.

According to US military sources, the drone was advancing in a hostile manner towards the carrier, prompting defensive action. Captain Tim Hawkins, spokesperson for the US Central Command, confirmed that the unmanned aerial vehicle was identified as a Shahed-139 drone.
