What Liton, Miraz and Coach Said at BCB President’s Meeting

As Bangladesh’s cricketers intensify their fitness camp and skill training in preparation for the upcoming Asia Cup, they are also getting another opportunity to hone their skills in the three-match T20 series against the Netherlands. Despite the short-term focus, captain Liton Das, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, and coach Phil Simmons have emphasised their long-term goals for consistent team performance.

Yesterday (Tuesday) at 10:00 am, Miraz, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, and other national players met with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam Bulbul at a five-star hotel in Dhaka. President Bulbul had returned from Australia on Monday after spending time with his family.

In addition to contracted players, many others attended the meeting. Discussions lasted three continuous hours, covering a wide range of topics. Players expressed their personal ambitions and objectives during the session.
