What Surprises Await in Baahubali 3?

Fans of the popular ‘Baahubali’ franchise have reason to rejoice as the blockbuster prepares to return to the big screen. However, the third instalment is not an entirely new film. Director S.S. Rajamouli is presenting a new edition that combines the first two films—Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017)—into a single cinematic experience.

This release coincides with the 10th anniversary of the blockbuster series. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda has shared that the new edition will run for approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes.

  • The first film’s story will be shown before intermission.
  • After the break, the second film’s narrative will continue.

“Audiences will get the opportunity to watch both films together, while the storyline will flow just as it did originally,” Yarlagadda said.

The new version may include previously unseen scenes. During filming, Rajamouli had shot over 11 hours of footage, much of which was trimmed during editing. Fans will now be able to enjoy these hidden moments, offering a fresh perspective on the saga.

Total Runtime Approximately 3 hours 45 minutes

Despite fan speculation, ‘Baahubali 3’ does not hint at a third part. Shobu Yarlagadda clarified: “This re-release is purely a beginning. In the future, more stories from this world could be told.”
