In the capital, commuters often face various hassles while traveling on the roads. Due to different programs, traffic frequently comes to a standstill. Therefore, before going out in the morning, check where today’s events will take place.
On Thursday (November 13), here are some key events scheduled for the day.
BNP’s Programs
At 12 noon, diplomats will meet BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the party chairperson’s office in Gulshan.
At around 2:45 p.m., the BNP Secretary General will join as the chief discussant in a seminar titled “National Parliamentary Election 2025: The Need for National Unity,” organized by FSD at Radisson Blu.
At 5 p.m., a cultural program and discussion will be held at the Central Shaheed Minar marking November Revolution and Solidarity Day. The BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will attend as the chief guest.
At 10 a.m., a video content launch will take place at BNP’s central office in Naya Paltan in observance of November 7 Revolution and Solidarity Day. The event will be attended by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi as the chief guest.
NCP’s Program
At 11:30 a.m., the National Farmers’ Power will hold a discussion titled “July Charter: The Question of Farmers’ Deprivation and Justice” at NCP’s office in Banglamotor. Party Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain and Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari will be present.
Fayez Ahmad Taiyab’s Program
At 3:30 p.m., the closing ceremony of the training program on implementing “Citizen Service Bangladesh” will take place at the Dak Bhaban Auditorium in Agargaon. The event will be attended by Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Fayez Ahmad Taiyab and ICT Division Secretary Shish Haydar Chowdhury.
Islami Chhatra Shibir’s Program
At 7 a.m., Islami Chhatra Shibir will hold a protest march from Dhaka College to Raju Sculpture, demanding justice for all genocides including July killings, legal recognition of the July Charter, and protesting subversive acts by the banned Awami League.
