Dhaka, 30 September 2025 — Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) and the Bangladesh Business & Disability Network (BBDN) marked an inspiring milestone today as fifteen women with disabilities successfully graduated from a specialised Digital Marketing Training Programme. The certificate-awarding ceremony was held at the Skill Jobs office, attended by representatives from BBDN, EBL, Skill Jobs, and B-SCAN.
The training programme was developed to empower women with disabilities by equipping them with market-relevant digital skills to prepare them for meaningful employment in the evolving digital economy.
Prior to the sessions, BBDN organised a sensitisation workshop for Skill Jobs instructors to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. In partnership with B-SCAN, candidates were identified, assessed, and enrolled.

During the event, speakers underscored the transformative role of partnerships in expanding opportunities for women with disabilities and advancing inclusivity in the workforce.
The graduates themselves shared their aspirations. Sangita Ghosh, a participant with hearing and speech disability, expressed: “I want to use the knowledge gained from this Digital Marketing training to promote my online dance tutorial channel and expand my reach through social media.”
This initiative demonstrates how collaboration between businesses, disability-focused organisations, and training providers can effectively break down barriers, enabling women with disabilities to learn, work, and lead in a rapidly changing digital world.
