Police recovered the body from the rented residence of Jalal Mia, located in the Pagla Aliganj area, and have sent it for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Sabina, a native of Fatepur Pakhimara village in Balapara Thana, Patuakhali District, was the daughter of Motaleb Mia. She had been living with her husband, Roni Mia, in the rented accommodation in Aliganj. Roni works at a local rolling mill.

According to police sources, the couple had spent the previous night together, and the deceased’s body was discovered the following morning by her husband. Roni immediately reported the incident to Fatulla Model Police Station. Police have taken Roni Mia into custody for questioning as part of their ongoing investigation.
