Young Man Dies After Motorcycle Crashes Into Tree in Rangpur

A young man named Md Rashed (40) died in a road accident after losing control of his motorcycle in Rangpur. The incident occurred on Sunday morning in the Mahipur SKS Bazar area of Lakshmitari Union under Gangachhara Upazila. Rashed was the son of Azizul Islam from Pakpara in Rangpur city.

According to police and local sources, Rashed was travelling towards Kakina in Lalmonirhat early Saturday morning on his motorcycle. As he approached the SKS Bazar area, he suddenly lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree. He died on the spot. Upon receiving the information, police recovered the body and took it to the Upazila Health Complex.

Officer-in-Charge of Gangachhara Model Police Station, Al Emran, said that the victim’s family had been contacted. After completing legal procedures, the body will be handed over to the family.
