Zahid Nirab Celebrates Eid with Family Qawwali

This Eid, music enthusiasts are set to enjoy a distinctive release as Zahid Nirab brings his family into the spotlight for the first time in his career. The singer and composer has recorded a heartfelt qawwali titled “Shukriya Hasnah”, written by lyricist Manzur Elahi, which will debut on the eve of Eid. The track will be available on Zahid Nirab’s official Facebook and YouTube channels, as well as on Prime Bank’s YouTube channel.

Sharing insights into the collaboration, Zahid Nirab explained, “Music has always been at the centre of our family life. My father plays the harmonium, I sing into the microphone, my elder brother Zubayed Al Naeem plays the tabla, my younger brother Hasibul Nibir contributes on guitar, and Mehedi Hasan Tamjid performs on the rabab. These performances, which once graced the stage in Munshiganj, are now captured in this song for a wider audience.”

The singer elaborated on the song’s inspiration: “The lyrics are truly remarkable. They remind us to express gratitude for the innumerable blessings that the Creator has granted us. That sense of thankfulness is the heart of the song.”

Interestingly, the song originated as a jingle for Prime Bank, which Zahid Nirab transformed into a full-fledged track. “I was drawn to the jingle’s theme and lyrics, and with permission, we developed it into this complete song. Video production was equally important. My longtime collaborator Kausar Islam Pranto and his team were instrumental in realising this vision,” he added.

Currently, Zahid Nirab is experiencing an intense and productive phase in his career. His work spans advertising, television dramas, and films, with multiple Eid releases featuring his compositions this year. This release not only highlights his versatility but also celebrates the joy of music shared with family.
